About me : Discovering my journey

Hello everyone! My name is Desya Aulia Putri Pratiwi, but my friends usually call me Eca. I am 18 years old, and I was born on December 5th, 2005, in Bandar Lampung. Currently, I live in Jember because I am studying in the English Study Program at Polije. My focus is on communication and tourism.

I chose to study English because I love learning new languages and meeting people from different cultures. I hope that one day, I can work abroad and explore many new places. Studying at Polije helps me improve my English and learn more about the world of tourism.

In my free time, I have a few hobbies that I enjoy. I love listening to music, especially songs from Treasure, Niki, Taylor Swift, Katy Perry, and Bruno Major. Music helps me relax and feel better after a long day. I also like dancing, both traditional and modern styles, because it is a fun way to express myself.

I enjoy reading stories, especially AU (Alternate Universe) stories. They allow me to escape into new worlds and use my imagination. I also like singing, even though I don’t think my voice is very good, but it makes me happy.

Talking about my physical appearance, I have light skin and I always wear a hijab, which is important to me. My hair is naturally wavy and thin, but I hope one day I can have thicker and more voluminous waves. I believe it is important to feel good about ourselves.

My daily activities are a mix of studying and doing the things I love. I usually start my day with a little exercise to keep my body healthy. Then, I go to my classes at Polije, where I focus on improving my English and learning more about tourism. After class, I like to spend time with my hobbies, whether it’s listening to music, reading a story, or dancing.

My dream is to work abroad one day. I want to experience new cultures and meet new people. I hope to find a job in the tourism industry, maybe as a tour guide or creating travel content. I want to help people learn about Indonesia’s beauty and why it’s a special place to visit. I also hope that working abroad will teach me new things that I can bring back to my country.
